A young duckling landed himself in hot water – literally – after he managed to get stuck in a car wash at a Tesco’s in Norfolk.
The duckling was found around 4pm on Thursday 27 June at the car wash at the Tesco store in Hunstanton.
He was found soaking wet near to the car wash and was handed in to a worker at the store.

Our officers and wildlife experts will be ringing geese in the Lake District tomorrow (Tuesday 2 July) as part of efforts to better understand the population in the area.
The project is a major part of the commitment made by us to assist the Windermere Geese Management Group.

We are appealing for information after a pony was found dumped with horrendous injuries in Winterbourne near Bristol.
Watson, as he was later named by HorseWorld, was found on 8 June in a field on Old Gloucester Road. He had horrific wounds on much of his body which appeared to be some kind of burns.

A young boxer/Staffie cross from our West Hatch Animal Centre near Taunton has become the latest success story for both the centre and for Avon and Somerset Police as he graduated this month as a sniffer dog.

A hedgehog had a lucky escape after falling down a 12 foot hole on a building site.
We were called after the prickly animal got stuck down the deep man-made cavity in Faversham, Kent on the 6 June. The hedgehog had tried to make his own escape by digging a bigger hole but had no way out without help.
