The RSPCA is appealing for information after a dog with two big tumours was dumped in Stoke-on-Trent.

The white Staffordshire bull terrier, who has been nicknamed Bubbles, was found in Garsdale Crescent, Blurton, on Tuesday morning (8 September).

She has a tumour inside her mouth and on the right side of her body. She is currently being treated and being kept comfortable at a vets. It is not known how old she is.

Staff at a Starbucks in Cheshire were shocked to find a kitten had been dumped in a bin outside the store.

The seven-week-old black kitten was found by a member of staff as he went to put a bag of rubbish in an industrial bin at the back of the store in Holmes Chapel Road, Middlewich, on Saturday, August 29. But he saw something move and immediately went to get his manager.

The RSPCA is reminding people about the importance of cat neutering after two sets of kittens were found abandoned in Stoke-on-Trent in the space of two days.

Three black-and-white female kittens were found in a field off Leek Road, Stoke-on-Trent, on Sunday (30 August) evening.

Then on Monday morning (31 August), one black female kitten and two male black-and-white kittens were found abandoned in a box in a hedge in Sandcrest Walk, Meir.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a foal was found with burn injuries in Derbyshire died.

Four-month-old Angus, was found by his owner with burn injuries to his leg and face while he was stabled in Alexandra Terrace, in Pinxton, on Wednesday (August 19).

Angus was treated by a vet but sadly he did not recover and died.
