RSPCA Cymru is appealing for information about a tiny kitten who was found tied to a gatepost in the Penywaun area of Aberdare in the early hours of Saturday morning (26 April).
The black and white kitten, who is around six-weeks-old, was discovered tied to the front gate of a house in Brodawel with a blue rope. The local resident called the RSPCA after local enquiries drew a blank.

RSPCA Cymru is appealing for information after 17 degus were found dumped in woodland in the Ringland area of Newport on Saturday (19 April 2014).
The animals were found in a filthy cage at the end of Edward German crescent by a member of the public who was on an early morning walk with his dogs.

RSPCA Cymru is appealing for information following the abandonments of a turtle and three terrapins in two separate incidents in south-east Wales.
The turtle was found in a lake at Garn Lakes nature reserve in Blaenavon on Wednesday 9 April 2014 by a member of the public who was concerned for its welfare as it appeared to be weak and lethargic.

RSPCA Cymru is appealing for help in tracing the owner of a British bulldog found struggling to walk and covered in sores in Blaenau Gwent.
The small, female bulldog who was an unusual blue colour was found wandering outside the Cwmcrachen traveller site in Nantyglo by a member of the public on Wednesday 9 April 2014. She was very thin, weak and her back end was covered in engine oil.

RSPCA Cymru is looking for the owner of a dog found on a ledge 15 feet above the River Neath in Glynneath yesterday afternoon.
The dog, an unneutered, male tri-coloured papillon cross was trapped on the ledge beneath a bridge on Chain Road, after he apparently managed to get over a wall and fall six feet onto the ledge below.
