RSPCA Cymru is searching for the owner of a bantam chicken found in Port Talbot.
A member of the public found the chicken in the garden of their Border Road home, after the bird was brought to the property by their cats.
Fortunately, the chicken is uninjured and RSPCA Cymru is now eager to trace the owner. The animal was collected by the animal welfare charity today (22 July).
RSPCA inspector Neill Manley said: “We really hope someone can help us track down the owner of this bantam chicken.
“The stray bird was found at a Border Road property in Port Talbot, after a skirmish with some local cats.
“Luckily, the chicken is safe and well – and now in our care. The owner, or anyone who can help us get this bird home, can contact our inspectorate appeal line on 0300 123 8018.”
