A black Labrador has been rescued by the RSPCA after becoming trapped in bushes on a steep cliff edge in the Wrexham area.

The animal welfare charity was alerted after the dog’s owner reported that her pet had become stranded at the spot by Bridge Street in Holt – situated close to the border with England. The rescue was completed on 29 July.

A microchip and passport clinic for horses will be held in Cardiff next week.

The clinic organised by Shared Regulatory Services (SRS) – which covers the council areas of Bridgend, Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan – will be held at Seabank Farm, Mardy Road, Wentloog, on Thursday 8 August between 9am and 5pm.
