The RSPCA is looking for a special person for lurcher Marley to call his own.

Marley – who is around two years old – lived on the streets with his former owner but could not cope with the freezing conditions. Marley

He came into RSPCA care with another dog called Daisy who has already been re-homed.

Suzanne Watkins from RSPCA Northumberland West Branch, who are caring for Marley, said: “Marley has been looking for his special person for a little while now.

“His friend Daisy has already found her perfect home and we really want to find Marley his ‘Me’.

“He’s a very sweet dog who will make someone a great companion.

“We’re looking for a home where there are no other animals or children for Marley.

“He is strong on the lead and will need further training in this respect but he will sit nicely for a treat. He is fine being left for short periods of time. He can be protective over his toys.

“Like most lurchers, Marley needs a home where he can go for a walk and then have a lovely snooze.”

Anyone who thinks they can offer Marley the kind of home he’s looking for can contact the branch by emailing adoptions@rspcanorthumberlandwest.co.uk or calling 07519 876789 or 07872 041733.
