Can you help us find Tigger – a tabby and white cat – his owner?
Sadly, Tigger was found collapsed and was unable to stand late last night (13 May) on the A4048 near Tredegar. It is thought he was hit by a car.
RSPCA animal collection officer Stephanie Davidson said: “Poor Tigger has a fractured jaw and a swollen head and is currently receiving treatment at RSPCA Merthyr Tydfil veterinary clinic.
“He is microchipped, so we know his name, but unfortunately the details are on the chip are not up to date. The address on the chip is Tonyrefail, so they may have moved, or he may now have new owners.
“We’re appealing to anyone who may know who owns Tigger to please contact us on 0300 123 8018, with calls treated in confidence.
“We really hope we find his owner, as they are probably very worried about him. He is in a stable condition and we are keeping a close eye on him. He has been through quite an ordeal.”
The RSPCA would like to remind people to get their pets microchipped to give their lost pets the chance of returning home. It is also important to register the chip with a national database and update your contact details if you move or change phone number.
