Marine rescuer takes on challenge for charity
A seal rescuer is taking on a 100-mile cycle challenge to raise money for the RSPCA East Winch Wildlife Centre.
Trevor Wright, a volunteer for the British Divers Marine Life Rescue, will be taking part in Prudential RideLondon in August in support of the RSPCA’s wildlife centre in Norfolk.

RSPCA Preston & District Branch Animal Centre is to re-open to the public this weekend.
The centre will open its doors from 11am until 3pm on Sunday (10 March), and staff are inviting supporters to drop in for a look around and a slice of cake.

The RSPCA is reminding people to help hedgehogs by making sure pipe drains are covered, after a hog got trapped in one in Colwyn Bay.
The hedgehog was found two-foot down a storm drain by a Dundonald Road homeowner, with the RSPCA being called this morning (5 March).
