An RSPCA cattery is looking for a special home for a cat who was left scarred after being injured in a road traffic collision.

Ten-year-old Aston came into the care of RSPCA Stapeley Grange, in Nantwich, Cheshire, with a large scar on his back as a result of being hit by a car. He is a very shy and timid cat, which may be a result of his injury.

A seal pup who was covered in oil is recovering at an RSPCA wildlife centre in Cheshire after being rescued in Merseyside.

The grey seal was rescued by an RSPCA officer after getting trapped in an oil compound.

A much-loved cat has had to be put to sleep after being shot in the head with an airgun in Eggborough, Selby.

 

Dusty was found on Green Acres by a neighbour covered in blood, unable to walk or stand.

 

Her owner took her straight to the vets where she was given pain relief and x-rayed. Sadly vets advised she needed to be euthanised.
