RSPCA Cymru has launched an appeal for information after a cat died from suspected poisoning in the Crumlin area of Newport.
The black cat named Hulk – whose owner say didn’t stray far – sadly died within hours of being poisoned on Thursday 30 August.

When they came into RSPCA care – they were shy, timid and very skinny dogs.
But now Monty and Molly – mother and son crossbreeds – have transformed into two loving, energetic dogs with glossy coats and are now a healthy weight.
When they came into RSPCA Cymru care they were very thin and in need of high nutritional food and veterinary treatment.

RSPCA Cymru is appealing for information after a decomposed dog was found in a bush by a dog walker at Johnstown, Wrexham.
The sad and distressing discovery happened on Thursday 30 August – with the small brown terrier type dog being found near the old Bersham colliery spoil heap, near Bangor Road.
The dog was decomposed, covered in maggots and was wearing a maroon and white jumper.
