doyle3He’s a true scaredy cat – but it’s not by his own admission.

Doyle was found at a multi-cat household in Cardiff, living in filthy conditions, and in the dark before he was taken into RSPCA Cymru care.

He’s now with RSPCA Newport Adoption Centre, which is based at Pets at Home at Mendalgief Retail Park, and they’re searching for a special home for him.

Rehoming coordinator Gaynor Smith said: “Our darling Doyle is quite a scared cat, so we transferred him into foster care and he is making positive steps forward and is beginning to relax.

“He is improving as it takes a lot to gain his trust, which is why we are doing anything we can to find him a loving owner who can help him settle into a forever home. We want him to get comfortable with a new owner as soon as possible.

“Doyle loves to play with his toys, but he does so at night – we think because he was used to living in the dark.

“We are looking for an adult-only household with no other pets.  He will need someone very special to take him home, due to the fact he is so very scared, but we know once he gets settled in, he will be a lovely cat for someone to adore.

“His perfect match is out there – we just need to get the message out there and find them!”
