Animal lovers in the Wrexham area are being invited to enjoy a cuppa and cake to help raise vital funds and awareness of responsible pet ownership.
The RSPCA’s Wrexham & District Branch has organised a pet-friendly Coffee Morning on Saturday (24 February), at the War Memorial building in Queensferry.
Supporters will have the opportunity to meet the Branch’s team and volunteers, and learn more about the charity’s work to promote responsible pet ownership in the local area, through vaccination, neutering, microchipping and the provision of welfare assistance.
Members of the public are invited to pop into the venue – which neighbours the Asda superstore – with all funds raised supporting the Branch with promoting animal welfare and keeping their clinic and key services running.
Attendees will also have the chance to learn more about the RSPCA’s Wrexham & District Branch, including volunteering opportunities.
Volunteer and Events Officer Dylan Evans said: “We would like to invite every animal lover and friend of the charity down to celebrate the work of our branch.
“It’s a pet-friendly coffee morning – so dogs are very welcome too.
“Anyone unable to attend who still wishes to donate can text WREX13 £5, or any other amount, to 70070, to help support our work, and animals in the community.
“We have an amazing team of volunteers and I’m excited to have a morning of celebrating the work that they do. It would be fantastic to see as many people as possible at the War Memorial building on Saturday (24 February), between 9am and noon.”
