A snake which was rescued by RSPCA Cymru after being found in the sewage system at a Caernarfon Treatment Works has been reunited with her owner FOUR MONTHS after escaping.

RSPCA Cymru was contacted after the Carolina corn snake was found by unsuspected employees at the Dwr Cymru site in North Wales.

The snake was rescued by an RSPCA officer, with the assistance of staff at the Treatment Works, prompting a search for the owner.

RSPCA Cymru is appealing for information amid fears that a dog was poisoned in the Pontypool area.

The animal welfare charity has been alerted after the male beagle dog, named Rolo, was found to be seriously unwell on 8 November, and was taken to a local veterinary practice by the owner.

A dead Dogue de Bordeaux has tragically been found in a Newport river with marks around her body, prompting an RSPCA Cymru appeal for information.

The charity was alerted after the brindle-coloured female dog was found in water adjacent to Riverside Terrace in the Newbridge area of the city on Wednesday (15 November).
