RSPCA networker tracks down owner of French cat thanks to some dedicated detective work

A French cat owner has been reunited with his beloved feline thanks to the dedicated detective work of the Networking Administrator from RSPCA Putney Animal Hospital.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a dog linked to South Wales was found in Reading with injuries consistent with illegal activity.

A member of the public found the dog in the Burghfield area of the Berkshire town on Sunday (29 October). Sadly, the large cream-coloured greyhound-type dog was found with blood-stained bite marks all over his face, was unable to close his mouth, and also has nasty injuries to his leg.

An appeal for information in the Abertillery area has been launched, following reports to RSPCA Cymru that two cats from the same household died from anti-freeze poisoning.

The charity was contacted by a member of the public, living on Glandwr Street, who – tragically – has had two of her cats die within a matter of weeks.
