A buzzard who got herself tangled 40ft up a tree was rescued in a joint operation between the RSPCA and Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a cat was caught in an illegal gin trap in Nottingham.
The cat – a 10-month-old black and white male cat named Will – suffered serious leg injuries on 14 April after getting caught in the trap, which had been set behind houses in Gladstone Street, Nottingham. RSPCA Cymru is appealing for information to try and find out the owners of three horses that have been removed from Llangynidr Common.
On Tuesday 26 April, RSPCA Cymru along with charity Redwings attended to specific horses that were of concern at the common in Powys.
A group of horses and a foal were removed from Llangynidr Common by the local authority, Powys County Council, using the Control of Horses (Wales) Act.
