The RSPCA is appealing for information about an emaciated dead dog which has been seen on the back of a truck in Hemel Hempstead.
The dead dog was seen on the towbar of a truck in The Queen’s Square on Monday, 9 May.
Chief Inspector Rob Hartley said: “This is a very shocking sight for people and can be upsetting. We have no idea how the dog died but clearly it is an upsetting sight and we are keen to speak to the owner of the truck about this.
“We have not had success in tracking down the truck yet, so we are appealing for the truck’s owner to get in touch with us on 0300 123 8018.
“Likewise, we would ask any member of the public who knows any information to contact us on the same number, in complete confidence.”
