Fun and games are in store at RSPCA Newport Animal Centre’s upcoming open day.

The annual event which will take place on Sunday, June 12 from 11am to 3.30pm, and will certainly be a fun day for all the family – and their canine pals too.

There will be games, a bouncy castle, competitions, a barbecue and refreshments.

There will be 11 dog classes on the day and a ‘catless’ cat show for all the cat lovers out there. All you need to do is bring along your cat photos on the day to enter the photo competition.

Centre manager Debbie Caffull said: “We’re really looking forward to our annual open day and invite everyone to come along and join in with the fun.

“The day will be a chance for people to bring along their pet dogs and enter a fun dog show for all ages and types. There will be 11 dog classes in total!”

Winners for the ‘catless’ cat show and the dog show will receive goodie bags for their pets.

Entrance is £2 for adults and 50p for children.
