RSPCA Cymru is appealing for information after an injured pony was found in a ‘terrible’ state, thin, injured and struggling to walk near Parc Cwm Darran in Bargoed.

The pony was found by a dog walker.

RSPCA inspector Christine McNeil said: “This poor pony was in a terrible state. She was alert but struggled to walk and was very hunched up. She has severe problems affecting her hind legs which is worse on the left.”

A female Staffordshire bull terrier type dog has been found tied up in the cold and dark, emaciated and covered in sores in Middleton, Greater Manchester.

 

She was discovered by a dog walker at around 7.30pm on Saturday night (30 January) tied to a gate by a red, cord Ancol lead at the cut-through to a field between some houses on Ulswater Drive.
