A SWAN has been rescued and released back to the River Severn.

A concerned member of the public contacted the RSPCA after a young swan was found in their Paddock area at Pool Quay, Welshpool on Monday (2 November).

The RSPCA is appealing for information after an emaciated American Bulldog was found on a Coventry street.

 The dog, who has been named Clara, was found in Nicholls Street, in Hillfields, Coventry, on Wednesday 28 October. She is believed to be aged around two and it is thought that she may have recently had puppies.

A frightened cat who managed to get herself stuck on a 30 foot high concrete support beam has been rescued and returned to her owner.

The RSPCA was contacted by a worried member of the public after spotting the tabby cat on a concrete support beam underneath the North Road flyover at the Gabalfa roundabout in Cardiff.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a cat lost his eye after being shot at close range in the face with an air rifle in a Leicestershire village.
