A fundraising page has been set up to help raise money for a dog with tumours who was abandoned in Stoke-on-Trent.

Bubbles, a white Staffordshire bull terrier, was taken into the RSPCA’s care after being found in Garsdale Crescent, Blurton, on Tuesday 8 September.

She was found to be riddled with tumours, which includes one in her mouth and one on her side. The tumours were originally thought to be inoperable, but on further examination, a vet found that the tumours could be operated on.

Inspector Laura Bryant said: “We’d love to get Bubbles sorted out. Hope Vets, in Trentham, has very kindly said they will do the operation for £300. All of the money which we raise will pay for Bubbles’s medical bills. Additional money which is raised will go towards helping other animals at the RSPCA’s Staffordshire North branch.

“There have been so many people who have said they would like to help donate towards Bubbles’s treatment so a JustGiving page has been set up to help people do so.”
