The RSPCA is urging members of the public to vote with their feet and give a circus that is coming to Langley Mill a miss.

Peter Jolly’s Circus will be in the town, in land off the A610, from 26th August to 31st August. The circus uses wild animals.

The RSPCA has long been pushing for a complete ban on the use of wild animals in circuses.

RSPCA Cymru is appealing for information after two kittens and two rabbits were found abandoned in boxes.

The two tabby cats were found by a member of the public abandoned in a cardboard box at Rosehill Terrace, Swansea, on 19 August.

Two rabbits were then abandoned in separate boxes in King George V Park in Pontardawe today [21 August].

The kittens and rabbits are currently in RSPCA care and are doing well.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a lurcher-type dog was found abandoned with black duct tape tied painfully tight around her muzzle near Faringdon last Saturday (15 August).

The young female dog, who has now been renamed Clover due to her lucky escape, was found walking the streets near Puddleduck Lane in Great Coxwell by locals who eventually managed to catch her before calling the RSPCA for help.
