A KINDHEARTED waxing salon has generously donated £645 to RSPCA Cardiff & District Branch.

To celebrate Madame Wax’s first anniversary, owner Adele Sweet marked the occasion with a stylish, fun-filled bash for her customers at the salon’s Cardiff city centre premises.

During the celebration customers generously bought tickets for the big birthday raffle, and it was decided that the funds would be split between two charities close to Adele’s heart.

Adele Sweet, Lynne Williams, Martine Gibson (RSPCA Cardiff and District Branch Manager) Lindsey GibsonRSPCA Cardiff & District Branch’s branch support manager, Lynne Williams, said they were over the moon to be chosen to receive £645.

“We are very grateful for this fantastic donation,” she said. “As we are a branch of the RSPCA we’re a separate, self-funding charity so this money will really help to support the animal welfare work we do locally.”

Adele from the salon added: “All my customers know dogs are a big part of my life. I cannot abide cruelty to animals full stop so if I can help in any way I will.

“I feel really privileged to have been able to use my business to help raise money for two fantastic causes. Of course I couldn’t have done it without the help of my amazing customers and the brilliant prize donations. I’m so thankful everyone dug deep to help us to raise much needed money that I know will make a big difference locally.”
