THE RSPCA is appealing for the owner of a cat that has been recently spayed to come forward.

The black cat was found on Ronald Road in Newport on 23 May by a member of the public who took her to a veterinary surgery as she had an open wound.

STAFF at RSPCA’s Newport Animal Centre are gearing up for a special open day next month.

The centre, based at Hartridge Farm Road, will be holding their annual family fun day on Sunday 14 June – but will also be unveiling a special new facility.

RSPCA Cymru is appealing for the owner of an injured puppy found on a Swansea bus to come forward.

The tan coloured dog was found on a First Cymru 25 service bus going into Swansea this morning [26 May]. It is believed that the dog may have got on the bus in Manselton.
