ASSEMBLY Member for South Wales East, William Graham, accompanied RSPCA inspector Christine McNeil on calls across his region yesterday [16 April].
During the day they dealt with several calls in regards to responsible ownership and abandonment and issued the appropriate advice.
William Graham AM said: “It was a brilliant day out with a dedicated and well trained inspector who was really knowledgeable about animals and superb at dealing with the public. The day was a real eye opener into the daily work of the much respected RSPCA”.
RSPCA inspector Christine McNeil said: “The day went really well and I think Mr Graham was given a true reflection of what we deal with on a daily basis.
“Animal welfare is an important issue to the people of Wales and it’s important that we are able to show our Assembly Members the scope of our work and our partnership with the general public.”
