The RSPCA is launching an urgent appeal for homes for horses, ponies and donkeys as the number in the charity’s care exceeds 600.

England and Wales are in the grip of a horse crisis and it’s the animals who are paying the price.

SEREN Coed has been through a lot – but she is certainly a star.

She is currently at RSPCA Gonsal Farm Equine Welfare and Rehabilitation Centre – waiting patiently for a loving home.

Seren Coed was rescued by the RSPCA from Caernarfon in January and was found with a horrific injury to one of her hind legs.

GORGEOUS George is a little treasure.

George, a bay colt, (left) was born in RSPCA care on 5 May 2014, and is now looking for his forever home.

His mother Bubbles (pictured right) was rescued on the Gower Peninsula in an emaciated state, heavily burdened with worms and was suffering with chronic diarrhea.

A TRAILER tent generously donated to RSPCA’s Newport Animal Centre is still up for sale.

Last year a kindhearted Newport man donated the trailer tent to the animal centre to help them raise much needed funds for the animals.

The trailer tent is in an extremely good condition and has hardly been used.
