A TRAILER tent generously donated to RSPCA’s Newport Animal Centre is still up for sale.

Last year a kindhearted Newport man donated the trailer tent to the animal centre to help them raise much needed funds for the animals.

Deputy Centre Manager Rebecca Jeffery and Centre Manager Debbie CaffullThe trailer tent is in an extremely good condition and has hardly been used.

Animal centre manager Debbie Caffull said they think the trailer tent is the biggest item they have ever been donated – but as of yet no one has come forward to buy it.

“Now the good weather is approaching and spring has arrived – we hope that we are able to find someone who would like the trailer tent,” she said.

“We are looking for any offers. If we can get £1,000 – that would be such a fantastic amount for us that will go towards helping the animals at the centre.”

Newport Animal Centre, based at Hartridge Farm Road, is open 11.30am to 4pm every day, but is closed on Thursdays.
