CAN you offer these two beautiful cats a loving home?

RSPCA Bryn-y-Maen Animal Centre in Upper Colwyn Bay is looking for homes for Lola and Duberry who have been at the centre since October after they both arrived in a very bad way.

The duo are a little shy but have made a huge improvement since arriving.

Duberry BYMKennel and cattery supervisor at the centre, Chris Butler, said Duberry may lack in confidence but makes up for it in beauty.

“We have never seen such beautiful markings in a cat,” he said. “She is a very special girl who came into our care with her sister Lola.

“Duberry especially likes to play with fishing-rod type toys and we’re sure that if her new owners keep up her playtime then she will come round in no time! Food is also a great motivator which will help you to form a bond with this lovely lady.”

When Lola arrived at the centre she had a nasty injury to one of her eyes and it was touch and go whether she would lose the eye or not.

“Miraculously, her eye has healed well and she hasn’t had any further issues with it,” said Chris.

“Lola prefers to sit and watch though she loves her food almost as much Duberry which will help you to gain her trust. Lola BYM

“Understandably, after everything Lola and Duberry have been through, they are timid young cats so when they go home they will need time and patience while their confidence grows.

“They both had flu symptoms which included watery eyes and congestion and though their flu is mostly under control at the moment they may flare up in times of stress in the future.

“When these two cats go home they will need time and patience while their confidence grows.”
