RSPCA’s Newport Animal Centre is looking for a loving owner to adopt a special Husky.

Hatchi is looking for a home with a family that have had sled dogs before.

Deputy manager at the centre, Rebecca Jeffery, said they would love to see the Husky find his forever home.

A CAT that became trapped in a three-inch gap between two houses in Llanfair Caereinion near Welshpool has been rescued by the RSPCA.

Inspectors Phil Lewis and Chris Dunbar attended Bridge Street yesterday [5 February] to free the male black cat.

Litter warning after duck caught with bottle fastener in beak

 

The RSPCA is asking people to be careful when disposing of litter after a duck had to be rescued in Hatfield on Monday (2 February).

 

The mallard was spotted in the grounds of the Mill Green Museum and Mill by concerned members of staff.

 

He had a plastic bottle fastener around the top of his beak and head.

A CAT has been found in a pet carrier on the side of the road in Pontnewynydd, Pontypool.

The black cat – who has a small white patch on his neck under his chin – was found by a member of the public in a carrier under some bushes near Pontnewynydd Park on Monday [2 February].

NORTH Wales residents are being encouraged to take advantage of a spring neutering scheme which could stop thousands of unwanted animals being born.

The scheme is part of a collaboration between the North Wales RSPCA Branches, Cats Protection and pharmaceutical company Bayer.

This year the scheme will take place in February, March and April and offers all those eligible the opportunity to have their cat neutered for just £5.
