ALL eyes will be on Brit award nominees Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and George Ezra tonight.
But little do they know that at RSPCA Bryn-y-Maen Animal Centre in Upper Colwyn Bay they have three little black and white kittens supporting them – as they have been named after the popular singers.
Kennel and cattery supervisor Chris Butler said the three kittens were named after the pop stars as their mum was named after a Welsh singer, who has had previous success at the Brit awards.
“They were named after singers because their mum was named after the Welsh singer Duffy, so the trend has continued,” he said. “The kittens were born on 6 January.”
He said Sam is friendly and playful and can live within a family and can live with other cats but not dogs. George is the most confident of his litter and is always very playful, and would also suit a family home. While Ed is the fluffiest and will need an experienced owner who is used to long haired cats to keep him groomed and looking gorgeous.
Their mum Duffy is also looking for a new home who would suit an older family who would just love one very special cat in their lives.
Anyone interested in rehoming the kittens or another animal from Bryn-y-Maen Animal Centre please call 0300 123 0745 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. The centre is open between 11am and 4pm everyday, except Wednesdays.
