THE RSPCA is looking for the owner of a guinea pig found in a garden at Ystrad Mynach.
The brown and black guinea pig was found at Brynmynach Avenue on Wednesday evening (12 November).
The guinea pig was cared for by the caller until the RSPCA arrived.
RSPCA animal collection officer Fiona Jackson said: “He has a wound on his back which is possibly trauma related, possibly from scratching himself because he has mites.
“If anyone has any information or knows of the owners please ring our inspectorate line on 0300 123 8018.”
