THE RSPCA is searching for the owner of a lost cockatiel to come forward.
The bird was found at the rear of Tesco at Talbot Green on Monday (27 October).
RSPCA inspector Julie Fadden collected the cockatiel from a nearby veterinary surgery it had been taken to, and took it to RSPCA Llys Nini Animal Centre in Swansea for boarding.
“The bird has a scabby bald head but is otherwise okay,” she said.
“We are now appealing for information so hopefully we can reunite the bird with its owner.”
