A GENEROUS man has donated a trailer tent to help RSPCA’s Animal Centre in Newport raise much needed funds.
Norman Lawrence had put the trailer tent up for sale, but then reconsidered as he has a real love for animals and thought it would be a nice idea to donate it to the animal centre instead.
The trailer tent is in an extremely good condition and has hardly been used.

An RSPCA Cymru petition, backed by the British Veterinary Association, calling for an end to non-stun slaughter was officially launched today (Monday).
Current law in Wales requires animals to be stunned before slaughter – but exemptions exist for certain communities.

We’re appealing for information after a cat was tied up in a duvet cover which was put inside a Lidl shopping bag and abandoned at one of our charity shops.
The young tabby cat was found by chance at the RSPCA shop on Blackstock Road in Central London on the morning of Friday, 11 July.

We’re appealing for help after a young horse with a broken leg was cruelly dumped among rubbish at a flytipping hotspot.
A member of the public spotted the injured piebald yearling in Bramble Lane, Upminster, Essex, at 8.30am on Monday, 7 July and moved her to safety.
Sadly when the yearling was examined by a vet it was discovered she had a broken front leg and she was put to sleep to stop her suffering further.
