Today on ITV’s This Morning, two terrier crosses made an appearance in hopes of finding a new home.
Belle and Benji are currently in the care of our Millbrook Animal Centre. When they were discovered they were found to be severely neglected. They were incredibly emaciated, with matted fur, riddled in fleas and mites and covered in their own urine.
Thankfully while at the centre, after receiving lots of loving care, they have been able to put the past behind them. Because they are so inseparable they need to be rehomed together, they are described as a ‘married couple’ by the staff at Millbrook.
The happy couple
Belle, the black one, is more confident than her friend and she loves to be out meeting people and other dogs.
Benji is a bit more reserved; however both dogs are lovely, friendly and affectionate when they know you.
They are thought to be around six-years-old. They can live with children older than 12 years old and other pets. They can also be left for short periods too, although they may need housetraining so may benefit from having someone around to begin with.
