Today two greyhounds, who are currently in our care, appeared on ITV’s This Morning in the hopes of finding a new home.

Bobby and Wendy didn’t have the best start in life and were rescued from unsuitable living conditions. They are now in the care of our Leybourne Animal Centre in West Malling.

An inseparable couple

Staff at the centre say the pair are ‘a devoted couple who gaze at each other lovingly when they go into their neighbouring kennels at night’.

The three-year-old black greyhounds love nothing more than snuggling up or going for long walks together.

Because the pair are so attached to each other, we’re looking for a home where they can grow old in each others company.

Meet Bobby and Wendy

Greyhound Wendy © RSPCA

Bobby is a lively chap who loves squeaky toys and going for long walks.

Wendy has an excitable nature and will do anything for food!

Due to their breed they cannot live with cats and small animals but they could live with another medium dog and can live with children eight years plus.

Could you adopt two loveable greyhounds?

Greyhounds are surprisingly lazy pets, who love sleeping and require no more exercise than many other breeds of dogs. They are loyal, gentle and ideal family pets despite their athletic reputation.

If you think you could offer a loving home to Bobby and Wendy please contact Leybourne Animal Centre on 0300 123 0751.
