We urge you to push for cull plans to be dropped


The farcical and costly badger cull could very soon be extended across the country and we are urging all those opposed to it to make their feelings heard to Number 10 Downing Street.

We have released the latest rescue figures for flood stricken Britain – with almost 400 animals saved since Monday (10 February).

Not only have we been helping people and pets, but unusual rescues include us saving 40 fish and,  in a separate incident, 30 chickens from the flood waters.

A Staffie with a big heart is looking for long-term love and a forever home this Valentine’s Day. 

Two-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier, Connor, arrived at our South Godstone Animal Centre in July (2013).

Staff at the centre have fallen head over heels for the cuddly canine and cannot understand why he has yet to find a new home.

A specialist RSPCA rescue team has been in Wraysbury, Berkshire this week to offer help and assistance to the stricken town.

Not only have our officers been busy rescuing animals – including two adult Sheepdog-type dogs and their six puppies as well as a number of horses – we have also provided support to residents left stranded by the flood water.

A homeless London moggie that weighs almost twice his recommended size is being slimmed down with the help of leading feline welfare charity Cats Protection.

The six-year-old black-and-white cat weighed in at a scales-busting 11.75 Kg when he was collected by our inspector late last year. He is being looked after by Cats Protection’s North London Adoption Centre who hope to find him a home after he has lost sufficient weight.
