We are urging all MPs to attend an important debate in Parliament on Wednesday (December 11) as the last opportunity to decide the future of the badger culls.

We were relieved when the government put a stop to the pilot cull in Gloucestershire last week after it became clear that their targets were not going to be reached and the trials had failed to meet the goals set by the government.

The RSPCA is appealing for an #AnimalHero to come forward and offer a new home for a previously abused and neglected dog in time for Christmas.

 

‘Ted’, an 18 month old male American bulldog cross, was signed over to the RSPCA in March and has spent the last eight months in the care of the Leeds, Wakefield & District Branch.

We are appealing for information after a badger was found dead with a rope tied around her neck in Clacton-on-sea in Essex.

A member of the public found the female mammal in a ditch in Golden Lane, near Thorpe-Le-Soken at 11am on Saturday (November 30).  She had no obvious injuries but there was blood on her nose. There was rope around her neck and string tied to nearby branches.
