We are appealing for information after four dead cats were found in separate plastic bags, dumped in a playing field at Broxtowe, Nottingham.
The bodies were discovered on the morning of Sunday 10 November, in Woodfield Park Recreation Ground, Woodfield Road, Broxtowe, Nottingham.
The four adult cats had been individually placed in Morrisons plastic shopping bags.
They were found by a member of the public who contacted us.

We are appealing for information after a wild goldfinch was found in a cage trap in a field in Ecton, Northamptonshire.
The bird was discovered by a concerned member of the public who had thought the bird had been abandoned.
The goldfinch was found in a field near a hedge on Northampton Road, Ecton on the same side as The World’s End pub.

A man from County Durham has become an #AnimalHero, running the Amsterdam Marathon to raise money for RSPCA Felledge Animal Centre.
