mike pugh hoglet

Four orphaned hoglets have been rescued from a Prestatyn caravan park.

The young hedgehogs were found huddled together and shivering on Sunday 29 September at Sunnylands Caravan Park on Shore Road. One of them had already died whilst the remaining hoglets were covered in fly eggs.

RSPCA officer Will Galvin said: “As RSPCA officers we rescue endangered animals in all kinds of situations. Without our intervention these hoglets would have perished without food or water and were vulnerable to other wildlife.”

The hoglets are in now in RSPCA care and will soon be released to the wild.
