RSPCA centre in North Wales hosting cat crazy Sunday

Wednesday 18 September 2013

Bryn y Maen animal centre near Colwyn Bay will be mad about cats on Sunday 22 September.

The centre’s first Cat Crazy Day will feature a range of cat-egories including low cost microchipping, loads of cat care advice and information, a treasure hunt and a cat less cat show where the moggies will be judged on the photographs entered by their owners.  Visitors are asked not to bring their cats with them but bring plenty of photos to show them off.

Bryn y Maen currently houses 65 cats with a further 30 waiting to come in and all of these moggies are looking for new homes.

Vicky Williams, acting manager of RSPCA Bryn y Maen’s animal centre said: “We’re bringing the feline good factor to North Wales and this special day will enable us to celebrate the cats in our lives.  This is an ideal opportunity for all cat lovers to have a good time and show their support for the work of the RSPCA.”
