Bryn-y-Maen Animal Centre have nine ‘Super Staffies’ looking for new homes
Friday 23 August 2013
RSPCA Cymru’s animal centre in North Wales is making a special appeal for loving homes for nine Staffordshire Bull Terriers they have in their care.
Staff at Bryn-y-Maen in upper Colwyn Bay say all nine of the dogs have completely different characters and are looking for totally different homes. Some are energetic and active while others are more cuddly and happy with a short walk. But what Barclay, Beau, Boxer, Eric, Gonzo, Rhona, Sasha, Spud and Tia do have in common is they all love people!
Acting Manager Vicky Williams said: “Staffordshire bull terrier have suffered a great deal from overbreeding and bad press in recent years and sadly, many have ended up in the care of the RSPCA and other rescue organisations through irresponsible ownership. However, Staffies can make wonderful pets and the Staffies in our care are well behaved, affectionate and playful.
“People shouldn’t dismiss Staffies out hand, all nine at Bryn-y-Maen are fantastic and deserve a loving home. I’d urge anyone looking to rehome a dog to have a chat with our staff and see whether one of our super Staffies would suit their lifestyle.”
You can see all nine Staffies starring in their own YouTube video at http://goo.gl/dI50D0 and their profiles are at http://www.rspca.org.uk/local/bryn-y-maen-animal-centre/petsearch
