Two young kittens have been found abandoned in a box in the front garden of a house in Great Baddow in Essex.

The kittens are a male and female and black in colour. They are about three months old.

They were found with a bag containing food, a litter tray and some cat toys.

RSPCA Inspector Steven Craddock said: ”It is inexplicable that someone who has clearly been looking after these kittens should just dump them in someone’s front garden.

“If they had got out of the box before someone found them who knows what would have happened?”

If you have any information on who owns these kittens, or saw who dumped them, please contact the RSPCA’s inspector information line on 0300 123 8018.
