The RSPCA is appealing for information after a dog was left tied up in  a park in Northampton.

 

The dog was found by a concerned member of the public on Monday 3 March tied to the railings near to the toilets and children’s play area in Abington Park, Northampton.

 

The RSPCA was called and an inspector removed the German Shepherd dog and took it to the RSPCA Woodside Animal Shelter in Leicester.

The RSPCA is ‘very concerned’ about the number of unwanted, abandoned and neglected rabbits that officers and the local branch are being called to deal with in Rochdale.

The RSPCA would like information on who threw a black cat out of the back of an estate car near the village of Keston in Kent.

The incident happened in Jackass Lane at around 1pm on Tuesday 19 March.

A witness saw a red Volvo estate pull up and a woman go round to the back of the car.

The RSPCA is appealing for information on who might be leaving antifreeze out in insecure containers that cats can access after two cats died within a week in the same road in Harlow in Essex.

A badger who was found collapsed near to a business park in Castle Donnington has been released back into the wild after being cared for by the RSPCA.

The badger was collected on 22 December last year by an RSPCA inspector after she was found exhausted and collapsed in the doorway of an office at Willow Farm Business Park.
