The RSPCA Bryn-y-Maen animal centre in Upper Colwyn Bay is looking for a new home for a faithful friend named Tonto who is today (6 February) celebrating a sad anniversary – he has been in kennels for one year.
Tonto came to the RSPCA Birmingham Animal Centre on 6 February 2012 after his owner neglected him, leaving him thin and suffering from a flea allergy.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after an emaciated Staffordshire bull terrier was found tied up in the snow in Gateshead.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after five kittens were found
in a sodden cardboard box between Rhos and Penycae near Wrexham.
The animals were discovered by a member of the public on a footpath on
Tuesday 29 January who gave them shelter by taking them home. The
eight week old kittens were sealed in the box which was disintegrating
as a result of heavy rain.
